The Aid-Funded Business Service raises awareness of opportunities offered by the various multilateral development agencies, such as the World Bank Group. These agencies need commercial firms to make their projects happen, and allocate significant resources to facilitate this, spending around US $60bn each year. This represents substantial business opportunities for UK companies.

The Science & Technology Team works on several key areas including UK Trade & Investment’s S&T policy, strategy and operations. Working in collaboration with colleagues across UKTI, other government departments, regional contacts and industry bodies, the team has responsibility for developing and maintaining a joined up approach to S&T. |
